Standouts from the 2020 All-America Event
BOYS
New England
Matt Lazzaro (Attack/2021/Franklin, MA/Franklin HS/Boston U.): Netted 3G, 1 A in 10–9 victory over LI during North Super Regional play at National Championship weekend. Earned All-Tournament and All-North Super Regional honors.
Calvin Desmairis: (Goalie/2021/Dracut, MA/Dracut HS/UMass Lowell): Led all goalies at National Championship weekend with 22 total saves on his way to earning Most Outstanding Player honors for the North Region. Recorded an amazing 17 saves versus Long Island to lead his New England squad to a one-goal victory.
Long Island
Joey Spallina (Attack/2022/Mt. Sinai, NY/Mt. Sinai HS/Syracuse): The nation’s top-ranked recruit for the class of ’22 posted championship weekend
highs for both goals (9) and assists (5). Notched five goals and 2 assists in tournament opening victory over Upstate. Named to All-Tournament team.
· Aidan Mulholland (Midfield/2021/Manhasset, NY/Manhasset HS/Michigan): Named to All-North Regional team for posting seven goals over three games during National Championship weekend. His three goals and 1 assist propelled LI to a 10–8 win over Upstate.
Upstate NY
Johnny Keib (Midfield/2021/Jamesville, NY/Jamesville-DeWitt/Yale):
Recorded three goals and 1 assist against New England. Named to the All-North Super Regional team.
· Tanner Burns (Midfield/2022/Fayetteville, NY/ Jamesville-DeWitt/Brown): Opened the tournament with two goals and 1 assist versus LI. Named to the All-North Super Regional team.
Washington, D.C.
Luke Raymond (Attack/2021/Crownsville, MD/Gonzaga/Villanova): Found the net 8 times during the South Super Regional while leading DC to the title. Would go on to earn Most Outstanding Player Honors at National Championship weekend for his heady play, unselfish teamwork and shooting accuracy during DC’s title run.
Chase Mullins: (Face-off/2021/Glen Allen, VA/Saint Christopher’s/UNC): Played a huge role in leading D.C. to the All-America
Highlight national title while dominating from his face-off position during Super Regional play and Championship Weekend.
South
· William Overly (Attack/2022/Smyrna, GA/The Lovett School/Utah): Posted 6 goals in the South Super Regional, including a personal best 2 goals and 1 assist versus Baltimore. Six goals were 3rd highest total in the region and eight total points placed him in the top 5 as well.
Liam Murphy (Goalie/2022/Vero Beach, FL/Saint Edward’s School): His 21 total saves were third highest among all goalies in the South Region. He opened tournament play with 6 saves versus Baltimore in one half of play.
Baltimore
William Schaller (LSM/2022/Bel Air, MD/The Hill School/Maryland): Named to the All-Region team for his outstanding play on both ends of the field. Registered an assist versus DC.
Truitt Sunderland (Attack/2022/Monkton, MD/Calvert Hall/Virginia): Lead all players in the South Region with 10 goals and 12 total points. He
posted three goals and one assist in the South Regional title game as his Baltimore squad fell 1 goal short in OT.
Midwest
Matteo Corsi — Attack “The IMG standout proved his worth time and time again for the Midwest squad. He has vision, quickness and game sense that prove why he will excel at the next level.
Nick Lauderback — Faceoff — The Northville MI native proved that he can control face offs in any direction, and he uses his wings very appropriately during the ebbs and flows of the game. He has the tools needed to take his game to the colligate level.
Goalies Nate Randall and Tommy Kunz — Both goalies from Brother Rice in Michigan averaged 7.3 saves per game during this high level event. They command their defenses well and found a way to make the acrobatic save look splendidly routine.
Bo Lockwood — Attack — Bo hails from Fenton Mi and uses speed and change
of direction to get to the cage, or get to those valuable feeding locations. Bo can dodge from up top as well as behind the goal, making him a multi threat offensive weapon.
West
Ziggy Iannessa — Midfield — This Spring Valley California native has the ability to play both ends of the field and uses his size and speed as part of his full field game. He clears the ball cleanly and can attack the cage with both hands — Ziggy has plenty of funk in his bag.
Southwest
Ethan Burke — Midfield — Austin Texas has a true lacrosse in Ethan. He plays like the son of a coach by being mistake free and very opportunistic. He can finish on the run and finds creative ways to notch assists when his teammates work off the ball.
Philly
Alex Petrignani — Midfield — He attends Academy of the New Church School in Easton and he can make you look foolish between the restraining lines. He cuts well, scores the ball with both hands, and can play wings on faceoffs. He gives the illusion that he can be multiple places at once while on the field.
Pup Bouno — Defense — Bouno plays like a pitbull all over the field. He can run LSM or close with equal tenacity and he runs like a deer. Malvern prep has a defensive star in Bouno, who’s father played Division 1 lacrosse at Villanova.
Conny
Liam McLane — Attack — Liam attends Taft School, and he plays like a Founders League All Star. His Lacrosse IQ reminds onlookers of Steele
Stanwick in many ways, and he takes pride in his ability to ride harder than anyone on the field every time he is on the field. His low to high shot is lethal.
Myles Speiss — Midfield — Myles is a star for Brunswick School and he can dominate the middle of the field like few others. Rarely in the wrong spot — he conjures up images of Jonathon Livingston Seagull by proving that “Perfect Speed is Being There”. Myles is always there.
New Jersey
Carson Brown — Defense — Carson attends The Hun School and opponents
frequently ask “What Can’t Brown do for you”? he plays wings, dominates the defensive end, is a terror on ground balls and has a motor with no off switch.
Matt Wrede — Matt has the ability to score with time and room, via the dodge, or by great off ball timing of cuts to open space. He plays the game with his head up when he has the ball and feeding teammates is second nature to this multidimensional offensive weapon.
GIRLS
New England
Rylee Bouvier (Mid-field/2022/Hollis, NH/Bishop Guertin/Stanford): Named to the All-North Regional squad. Registered two goals in two games.
Natasha Gorriaran (Mid-field/2021/Providence, RI/Moses Brown/Penn): Posted two goals on her way to earning All-North Regional honors.
Long Island
Emily Lamparter (Goalie/2021/Port Jefferson Station, NY/Mount Sinai HS/Maryland): Earned North Region Most Outstanding player and was also named to the All-Tournament team. Recorded 20 total saves during regional games.
Summer Agostino (Midfield/2021/South Setauket, NY/Ward Melville HS/BC): Posted a game-high 3 goals versus Baltimore in the All-America
National Championship game. Named to the All-Tournament team.
Upstate NY
Alecia Nicholas (Goalie/2021/Ithaca, NY/Ithaca HS/UNC): Dominated in the cage during regional play, leading all goalies with an amazing 34 total saves in 3 halves of play. Her best individual performance came against New England, where she notched 16 saves.
Kylie Gelabert (Mid-field/2021/Victor, NY/Victor HS/Cornell): named to the All-North Super Regional team for her solid two-way effort.
Washington, D.C.
Grace Muldoon (Mid-field/2021/Bethesda, MD/Stone Ridge School/Richmond): Her six goals were second highest on the team. Best performance came in South Regional semi-final where she registered 2 goals and 1 assist versus the South.
Kate Miller (Attack/2021/Mechanicsville, VA/Atlee HS /Virginia): Her 7 goals and 10 total points earned her All-Region honors. Posted a hat trick versus Baltimore and 3 points on two goals and 1 helper versus the South in the regional semi-final.
South
Maddie Dora (Attack/2021/Milton, GA/Milton HS/USC): Her 7 total goals were 3rd highest among all players at the South Super Regional. Posted a hat trick to lead her South squad to a 7–5 upset win over DC.
Ava deLyra: (Goalie/2022/Mount Pleasant, SC/Wando HS): Recorded the most saves among all goalies at the South Super Regional, posting 23 stops. Her personal best 6 saves versus DC in the semi-final proved to be the difference in a one-goal game that propelled the South into the regional finals.
Baltimore
Kennedy Major (Defense/2021/Hampstead, MD/Gerstell Academey/Maryland): This future Terp earned Most Outstanding Player
honors for her lockdown performance in leading Baltimore to the Highlight title. Baltimore was undefeated during regional and national championship play thanks to Kennedy’s dominance.
Kori Edmondson (Mid-field/2022/Severn, MD/McDonogh/Maryland): Earned All-Region and All-National Championship honors. Lead all scorers during championship weekend with an impressive 10 goals.
West
Genna Gibbons — Midfield — This Sacred Heart product covers more turf that Tru-Green. She has the ability to take over a game on offense or defense and she has the stickwork to facilitate good offense every chance she gets.
Brookelynn Hodgin — Goalie — a gifted stopper and talented clearing goaltender from San Clemente. She makes all the saves she should and some that break her opponents hearts. She saved 71.3 percent of all free positions during the tournament. Courage is her middle name.
Southwest
Catherine Lord — Midfield — she can do it all. Draws, plays the circle, runs like a deer, and can score off the dodge. Catherine is a Star for Regis Jesuit in Colorado and she shined in the All American Tourney this summer as the Most Outstanding player in the West Super Regional.
Maya Rutherford — Defense — Maya can step up and shut down the opponents best offensive weapon and she can lead her team defense by example. Maya is the consummate team defensive player and she has all the tools to make it at the next level.
Midwest
Franscesca Frieri — Attack — She is a Lockport Illinois standout who finds that comfortable balance between doding to score and dodging to feed. Just a
Junior, she was highly respected buy opposing coaches in the West Super Regional and made the All-Tournament team with ease.
Nina Montes — Midfield — Nina stars for St Ignatius College Prep in Chicago and she brought her “A” game to the West Super Regional where she was named All-Tournament. She has a tenacity that is unmatched. A class of ’21 standout at the All American event this summer she has a tremendous upside.
New Jersey
Jordyn Lipkin — Midfield — Jordyn plays an athletic full field game and opposing coaches take notice. Jordyn was named Most Outstanding Player in the East Super Regional. This Short Hills NJ native has all the tools and all the determination of a next level star.
Carley Bernstein — Midfield — Carley was names to the All-Tournament team in the National Championship event in Virginia Beach in October. She was highly ranked by every opposing coach because of her speed, stickwork, and overall Lacrosse IQ.
Conny
Shea Dolce — Goalie Shea plays her High School ball at Darien in Connecticut where traditionalists say she can take over a game in the manner like Kit Arrix (Boston College) Shea makes spectacular saves on free positions and in transition. She has what it takes to lead a team.
Shira Parower — Attack — this star for the Staples team was first noticed by former head coach Pete Najarian many years ago and she has built on her skills every year. Shira has a relentless drive to work on her game. She embodies the phrase that good players become great players when nobody is watching.
Philly
Kaylee Dyer — Attack — Kaylee was named to the East Super Regional Team. This Penn Charter star has the ability to leave defenders in the dust, and she
can find open teammates in the blink of an eye. She was on every opposing coach’s scouting report for the event.
Marissa White — Midfield — Marissa is an explosive dodger and a smart midfielder who can take over a game in a flash. Sharp in the middle of the field and an accurate shooter, this class of 2022 middies has her best lacrosse days ahead of her.
