Corrigan Sports and ESPN Renew National Cup Partnership

Corrigan Sports Enterprises announced a renewed relationship with ESPN today for their New Balance National Cup event series. The tournament format features (3) regional District events that funnel in to the culminating Championship tournament in Tampa, FL each December.
2022 TOURNAMENT DATES:
- District South, National Cup: Tampa, FL — June 4–5, 2022
- District East, National Cup: Conshohocken, PA — July 14–15, 2022
- District Central, National Cup: Rockford, IL — July 21–22, 2022
- New Balance National Cup Championship: Tampa, FL — December 2–4, 2022
In 2022, each District event will feature (3) Championship games live on ESPN3 — these games will then later re-air on ESPNU. The National Cup Championship in December will have (4) Championship games air live on ESPN3 which will re-air on ESPNU.
Ryan Corrigan, Director of Sales had this to say “We’re excited to renew our partnership with ESPN. Our primary goal with the National Cup Series was to showcase female athletes and we feel that ESPN is the premier partner in the sport”.
ESPN recently inked a deal with the PLL to be their official broadcast partner — along with the PLL relationship, an expanded college broadcast schedule shows ESPN’s commitment to the sport of lacrosse.
