All-America to shift to (2) 1-day events due to COVID restrictions, STILL IN VA BEACH
Elkridge, MD- The state of Virginia was added to the COVID-19 travel advisory list for NJ, NY and CT on October 13. In order to give all players and coaches the chance to participate in All-America Championship Weekend and the Spotlight Showcase, Corrigan Sports announces the following changes to the event schedule:
The Highlight and Command divisions will only compete on Saturday, October 17th in Virginia Beach. Saturday’s schedule will include play-in games, playoffs, and championship games.
- All games will begin @ 10AM
Sunday’s slate of competition in Virginia Beach will be dedicated exclusively to the Spotlight Showcase. All Showcase teams will still play four games each on the 18th.

The majority of participants remain unaffected by their respective state’s COVID-19 travel guidelines. The fluid situation with COVID-19 and the variables involved with securing a facility capable of accommodating this tournament mean rescheduling or relocating the event can not be explored.
While there is no single solution that is ideal for every team or player in these challenging circumstances, Corrigan Sports feels the creative solution of switching to the one-day format will allow the majority of participants to compete in a national event.
