2020 High School Championships
CSE announces 2020 High School event
It’s official, Corrigan Sports Enterprises announces the creation of a 2020 High School only event. “The 2020 High School Championships”
EVENT SCOPE:
- (4) divisions: Boys public school, Girls public school, Boys private school and Girls private school
- Each division will have a cap of 16 teams
- Unlike standard club tournaments, this event will be 6 days long where teams will have the opportunity to play an abbreviated season. Each team will receive a minimum of 4 guaranteed games
- Full length games
- Each division will have “regular season” games that lead in to the playoffs
- CSE will crown (4) total champions
- Each championship game will be broadcast live through @CSELax on twitter, Corrigan Sports Television on YouTube and the event website.
Corrigan Sports plans to work closely with First Scout Productions who will be
filming every game. CSE is aware that having film to share with college scouts is more critical now than ever before.
WHEN/WHERE:
The team at Corrigan Sports is working diligently to solidify multiple venues for the inaugural event. The goal being, not having thousands of people in one venue over the course of a few days. Stretching out over a six day period will be critical in hosting the pool play portion of the event. As of now, CSE is targeting the first week of July to host the tournament. However, this is very much subject to change. (July 7–12, 2020)
COVID-19:
As the Coronavirus Pandemic continues to evolve, Corrigan Sports is very aware of the challenges it presents in our industry. We would in no way put athletes, families, coaches, and our staff at risk. If the High School Championships event can not be played on the date we ultimately release, we’ll attempt to postpone. If it needs to be cancelled, ALL TEAMS WILL RECEIVE A FULL REFUND FOR THIS TOURNAMENT.
CSE plans to implement a variety of measures at all of our events to ensure they’re safe for all to attend.
